- Obverse
- The face value, 1 NEW SHEQEL on the Silver B.U. Coin, 2 NEW SHEQALIM on the Silver Proof Coin, in Hebrew and English. Left is a modern, cube-shaped Sabbath Candlestick. In the upper left-hand border is the word "ISRAEL in Hebrew, Arabic and English.
- Reverse
- Three-branched Sabbath candelabrum from Poland, 18th century, Israel Museum Collection. Left, center is the mint year 1992 and right, the corresponding Hebrew mint year 5753. Above the candelabrum, in the center, is the Israel State Emblem. Decorative shapes adorn the coin around the border.
