- Name of the country and Shield of Portugal above. A ship sailing to the right, and on the right, temples of the river Chao Phraya. Date and value below.
- Reverse
- 2 interlaced moldings containing symbols of the two nations and the names of their kings. Left an armillary sphere surmounted by the Cross of the Order of Christ , right an elephant topped by a pagoda. Around legends in Portuguese and Thai.
