¼ Teston from Duchy of Lorraine. Issued from 1587 to 1588. Struck in Silver. Measures 22 mm and weighs 2.3 g.

Obverse
Nude-headed, cuirassed, beared and old bust of the Duke right with a big flat collar. (Charles, for God's grace, Duke of Calabria, Lorraine, Bar and Guelders.)
Reverse
Between two crowned crosses of Lorraine, crowned shield in 5 parts: -up and left: split between Hungary and Napoli (Anjou-Sicily) -up and right: split between Jerusalem and Aragon -bottom left: split between Anjou and Guelders -bottom right: split between Flanders and Bar -middle: Lorraine. (New coin struck in Nancy.)
