Above, there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine; to the right, there is the semicircular inscription УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the indication of the face value - 2/ГРИВНІ (2/hryvnias), the year of issue - 2016, and underneath - Sofia Rusova's saying: У ЖИТТІ КОЖНОЇ/ ШЛЯХЕТНОЇ ЛЮДИНИ/ МАЄ СВІТИТИ ВЕЛИКА/ ЯСНА ЗІРКА:/ ЩАСЛИВА ДОЛЯ/ РІДНОГО/ КРАЮ (There must be a big bright star shining in every honorable man's life: a fortunate destiny of their native land); to the left, a lamp is depicted as a symbol of enlightenment; below, there is the mark of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
