20 Francs from Luxembourg. Issued in 1980. Struck in Bronze. Measures 25.64 mm and weighs 8.46 g.
- Obverse
- Portrait on the left of Jean (1921-2019), Grand Duke of Luxembourg from 1964 to 2000 surrounded by the legend. Signature J.N.LEFEVRE in bottom. Behind the portrait the word ESSAI
- Reverse
- The crowned face value, between two oak branches, above the date of issue and the artists' initials. The date is flanked on the left by a bird (punch of Mr. Robert Vogeleer, commissioner of the Mint) and on the right by the head of the archangel Saint Michael (punch of the Brussels workshop).
- Edge
- Heald decorated with a guilloche in hollow
