80 Réis - Maria I and Pedro III from Brazil. Issued from 1778 to 1786. Struck in Silver (.917). Measures 20 mm and weighs 2.22 g.

- Crowned portuguese arms flanked by value 80 and two flowers, and date. (Maria I and Pedro III, by the Grace of God, Regents of Portugal and Lords of Brazil.)

- An armillary sphere in front of the Order of Christ cross, without mintmark. (Under that sign it was born and will remain.)
