1 Thaler - Joseph I from Austrian Empire. Issued in 1710. Struck in Silver (.875). Measures 44 mm and weighs 28.1 g.
- Obverse
- Armoured portrait with curly wig facing right, armour finely decorated, chain of the Golden Fleece. The top of the head divides the legend. No inner circle.
- Reverse
- Composite arms with 1 ancient Hungary, 2 Bohemia, 3 Austria and 4 Habsburg, at bottom the 5 eagles of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich). At the center a small shield of Tyrol. Around the chain of the Golden Fleece.
