Obverse

Within the circle made of a string of beads there is the small National emblem of Ukraine is depicted, with the year of coin issue above it - 2004, the coin mintage year. Between the beads circle and the coin rim there are circular inscriptions УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) - above, 2 Г РИВНІ (2 hryvnias) - beneath, as well as the designation of the metal, its fineness and its weight in fineness.
