- Crowned 'FM' monogram. Right facing crowned dolphin to the left and crowned thistle to the right. (Francis and Mary, by the grace of God, King and Queen of Scotland, Dauphin and Dauphiness of Viennois)
- Reverse
- Cross potent above a square that contains a four line inscription, flanked by crosses of Lorraine, date below. (They are no more twain, but one flesh)
