- Obverse
- Peace dove with branch in front of Surinamese flag above denomination. Underneath the dove the number 10 (years of independence). Dutch and Sranan text surrounding the whole. (Republic of Suriname I chose this country)
- Reverse
- Number 5 in a fist on a star on a grid. Dutch text surrounding. Mint and privy mark flanking the lower text. (25 February Suriname will win 5 years of revolution)
