Above is Ukraine's small coat of arms and the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine); in the center against a smooth background is the logotype of the Dokuchaiev Kharkiv National Agrarian University, to the left of which is a portrait of the first director of the Marymont Agrarian Institute, Beniamin Flatt, and the names of the cities where the university operated; beneath is the coin face value ДВІ ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnias), the coin issue year 2016 and the mint mark of the NBU Banknote Minting and Printing Works.
