Obverse
There are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the semicircular legend: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); below - the coin denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ (10 hryvnias); in the center there is depicted the Fountain of Samson, located in the Podil district of the city of Kyiv, surrounded with eight-point stars often used by Ivan Hryhorovych-Barskyi as architectural trim (Baroque style); to the right - the coin issue year 2011.
Reverse
There are depicted the coat of arms of Hryhorovych-Barskyi family, a conventionalized family tree with the cartouches wherein there are: a drawing of the traveler Vasyl Hryhorovych-Barskyi as he portrayed himself (to the left) and St. Nicholas Church on the Shore in Kyiv erected from the design by Ivan Hryhorovych-Barskyi (to the right); along the coin edge there are bow-shaped inscriptions: above - РІД ГРИГОРОВИЧІВ-БАРСЬКИХ (family of Hryhorovych-Barskyis), to the left - ВАСИЛЬ (Vasyl) 1701-1747, and to the right - ІВАН (Ivan) 1713-1785; below there is the family motto ТРУД МОЯ СИЛА (Labour (is) my force).
