- In the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE ROUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2012 г." (2012), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. (Twenty Five Roubles Bank of Russia SPMD)

- In the centre of the coin disc, in the aperture between two columns and fragments of interior of the Hermitage Theatre in Saint Petersburg, on the part of the mirror field, imitating the smooth river's water surface - the relief image of G. Quarenghi with a scroll of paper in the right hand and a model of the Assignat Bank building in Saint Petersburg on the bent left one. On the paper scroll - the inscription in four lines: "ДЖАКОМО КВАРЕНГИ" and "GIACOMO QUARENGI", divided by the colored picture of the capital of Ionic order.
