In the centre and against the background of the Ukrainian landscape there is a depiction of Mykola V.Hohol and Rudy Panko, his literary character, above there is the semicircular inscription: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), beneath - the small National Emblem of Ukraine, 20-05, the coin mintage year and the inscriptions: 20/ ГРИВЕНЬ (20/ hryvnia), Ag 925, designation of the metal and 62,2 g, its weight in fineness, as well as the logotype of the NBU Mint is depicted.
Reverse
There is a multi-figured composition, typical for a country fair of 19th-20th centuries; above there is a semicircular inscription: СОРОЧИНСЬКИЙ ЯРМАРОК (Sorochynsky Fair).
