- Obverse
- Look of Zagreb Cathedral from around 1860., denomination below (Republic of Croatia 500 Kuna)
- Reverse
- Motifs from the ivory plenary from Zagreb Cathedral. Two circular motifs one below the other, of which the above represents the initials in Greek letters of Jesus Christ the Savior (I-H-S) with a centrally placed cross coming out of the letter H framed by a leaf corolla. In the lower circular motif is the oldest coat of arms of the city of Zagreb with three towers, the central of which is the highest and with the southern gate on the walls below the central tower. Next to the left tower is a radiant star, and next to the right is a crescent facing upwards. To the left and right of the circular forms are the heads of angels (motifs from the silver frame of the plenary). Along the edge of the rim, the text "1094-1984. Zagreb diocese, city of Zagreb" is laid out in a circle, with figures from the diocese separated by crosses and the city of Zagreb by stars. (1094. Zagreb bishopric 1994. City of Zagreb)
