1 Ducat from Sweden. Issued in 1804. Struck in Gold (.976). Measures 22.76 mm and weighs 3.5 g.
- Obverse
- Armored bust of King Gustav IV Adolf facing right. Legend around rim. (Gustaf IV Adolf King of Sweden, of the Goths and the Wends)
- Reverse
- Crowned lined orb with the Three Crowns of Sweden within the Chain of the Order of Seraphims. The Crown has a radiant star above its tip with King's motto further above. Date is below, above a line, at both sides of the chain.Below the chain, in the exergue, in a brick wall pattern, the Arms of the province of Dalarna: crowned crossed arrows with crown above, divides the mintmark. The presence of these Arms indicates that the gold for the coin was obtained at the Dalarna Mines. (God and the people)
