2 Mark from Norway. Issued in 1700. Struck in Silver (.833). Measures 27.3 mm and weighs 8.99 g.
- Obverse
- Bust of king Frederik IV, facing right. Surrounded by inscription (Frederik IV, by gods Grace, king of Denmark, Norway, Wends and Goths)
- Reverse
- The radiant triangle of Jehovah in center (a triangle with three hebrew "S"), with the kings crowned and mirrored monogram on each corner of the triangle. In between the monograms are the coat of arms of Denmark, Norway and Nordisk Union. All this is surrounded by the inscription. Date and mint mark beneath. Beaded ring at the edge of the obverse.
