2 Mark from Norway. Issued from 1725 to 1726. Struck in Silver (.672). Measures 32 mm and weighs 11.14 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned double mirrored monogram of King Frederik IV. Legend surrounding, along the rim with mintmark in the middle. (By Gods grace, king of Denmark, Norway, the Wends and the Goths)
- Reverse
- Crowned three-parted shield above a small lined cross. The shield has an inverted pear-shape and have the arms of Denmark, Norway and Kalmar Union. The shield in encircled by a band tied to shield border with the pendant of the Order the Elephant. King's motto as legend along the rim with date at end. (The Lord be my helper)
