1 Teston from Portugal. Issued from 1504 to 1521. Struck in Silver (.916). Measures 28 mm and weighs 9.8 g.
- Obverse
- In a circle, the heraldry of the Kingdom of Portugal (crowned shield) with on the left a ringlet and on the right the value in Roman numeral. Latin legends starting at 12 o'clock in the periphery.
- Reverse
- In the center of a circle, the cross of the order of Christ with stars in the angles. Three dots at the top Latin legends starting at 12 o'clock in the periphery.
