½ Guilder "Saint Philip Gulden" - Charles V from Duchy of Brabant. Issued from 1507 to 1520. Struck in Gold (.663). Measures 22 mm and weighs 1.65 g.
- Obverse
- Saint Philip, nimbate and standing, holding cross in right hand and bible in left hand, crowned arms of Austria-Burgundy-Brabant before him. Legend ends with mintmark. (Saint Philip intercede for us)
- Reverse
- Floriate cross with lion in quatrefoil in center, and alternating crowns and fleur-de-lis in the angles, within beaded inner circle. (Gold coinage of the Archduchy of Austria, Duchy of Burgundy, Brabant)
