- Obverse
- The face value between two branches of laurel and oak, surrounded by the French motto and three hexagons.
- Reverse
- Marianne in profile wearing the Phrygian cap, a crown of olive and oak, referring to peace and fertility for the former and strength and solidity for the latter, as well as the cockade whose national colors have been treated in heraldry. The "L" of liberty is transformed into a flight of birds which, arriving in the blue of the cockade, frees itself symbolizing the space of liberty that the Republic must be.
