1 Riyal - Yahya from North Yemen. Issued in 1344. Struck in Gold. Measures 39 mm and weighs 35.5 g.

- Three tangent double linear circles in Arabic. Voided star below flanked by floral and grain-ear sprays (Allah (God) helped him 1322 Yahya Muhammad Hamid ed-Din Commander of the Faithful, he who relies on God, the Lord of the Universe)

- Shahada in two lines within divided linear circular border; in outer margin, ’imadi (value) in Arabic above in linear rounded rectangular border; floral designs in voids (Imadi There's no God but Allah Muhammad is the messenger of Allah Struck in the abode of the Caliphate Sana'a, Yemen 1344)
