Armoured non-crowned bust in ruffled collar looking right holding scepter in right hand, ring of pearls under circle of lettering. Large imperial crown in front of bust on the right on a tower (Rudolf II, by the grace of God, Emperor of the Romans, forever Monarch, King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia)
Reverse
Double-headed glorified eagle with wide open wings, on the breast fourfold curved shield: Hungarian Árpád stripes, Hungarian double cross, Dalmatian leopard heads, Bohemian lion. In chestshield Austrian bonds. Mintmark at the sides by the feet of the eagle. Above the neck of the eagle crowned Madonna on crescent, holding child in her right arm, scepter in her left.
