1 Gyllen - Gustav Vasa from Sweden. Issued in 1523. Struck in Silver. Measures 40 mm and weighs 26.16 g.
- Obverse
- Quartered shield with arms of Vasa and Dalarna (crossed arrows) in central low position, with above standing mantled figure of King Gustav Vasa. King has a sword raised in the right hand, and the Globus Cruciger in the left hand. Figure of King and the shield are partially inside a circle with legend outside. (Saint Erik king of Sweden.)
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden above a long arms cross. The point of the cross cut the legend in four parts. Date is at the end of legend. (New coinage of Uppsala.)
