1 Gyllen - Gustav Vasa from Sweden. Issued in 1523. Struck in Silver. Measures 40 mm and weighs 26.16 g.

Obverse
Quartered shield with arms of Vasa and Dalarna (crossed arrows) in central low position, with above standing mantled figure of King Gustav Vasa. King has a sword raised in the right hand, and the Globus Cruciger in the left hand. Figure of King and the shield are partially inside a circle with legend outside. (Saint Erik king of Sweden.)
Reverse
Crowned shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden above a long arms cross. The point of the cross cut the legend in four parts. Date is at the end of legend. (New coinage of Uppsala.)
