2 Mark - Gustav Vasa from Sweden. Issued from 1556 to 1560. Struck in Silver (.500). Measures 39.98 mm and weighs 22.19 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned quartered shield of Sweden (Three crowns of Sweden in first and fourth quadrant; Folkungs Lion in second and third; smaller shield with Vasa Arms in center) within circle. Legend outside with mintmark at end. (Blessed is the man who fears the Lord)
- Reverse
- Six lines legend inside a double-lined square. Above the date, below the value expressed as multiple of Ore. Floral ornaments at sides of square (Gustav (Vasa) by the Grace of God, King of Sweden, of the Goths and the Wends)
