1 Daler - Gustav Vasa from Sweden. Issued in 1559. Struck in Silver (.875). Measures 41 mm and weighs 29.28 g.
- Obverse
- Half length old figure of crowned and armored King Gustav Vasa holding a raised sword in right hand and a globus cruciger (Symbols of King's power) in left. Below his bust an ornate shaped Shield with Greater Arms of Sweden and Vasa arms in the middle. Shield and King are partially inside a circle while the legend is outside. (Gustav (Vasa) by the Grace of God King of Sweden, of the Goths and the Wends.)
- Reverse
- Standing veiled figure of Christ with raised right arm and a globus cruciger in left. Christ feet are upon a rock or a globe. Date is divided at sides. Christ is partially within a circle, with King's motto outside. (World Savior help us)
