- Obverse
- Big crowned king's monogram inside a beaded circle. Outside, in legend, is the king's motto, with mintmark at lower point. Legend is readable clockwise starting from right of the crown. (With piety and justice)
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with arms of Denmark partially inside a beaded circle. Cross with large arms behind shield. Outside the circle is the value in letters with date at end.
