1 Gold Lion from Duchy of Brabant. Issued from 1454 to 1460. Struck in Gold (.958). Measures 31 mm and weighs 4.26 g.
- Obverse
- Seated lion facing left, inside a gothic stall. A firesteel (briquet), flint and sparks at each side of the stall (Philip, by God's grace Duke of Burgundy and Brabant, and Lord of Mechelen)
- Reverse
- Shield with Burgundian arms over a floriate cross (Blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen)
