Obverse
Standing figure of King Gustav Vasa in full armor, holding a raised sword in the right hand partially inside an ornate circle. Legend outside. Small Vasa Arms between King's feet.
Reverse
Crowned shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden and an "A" (symbol of the City of Åbo) in the middle, is inside a beaded circle with legend outiside. The shield is above a long arms cross that cut legend in four parts. (New coinage of Turku.)
