1 Öre from Sweden. Issued in 1523. Struck in Billon (.469 silver). Measures 31 mm and weighs 4.39 g.
- Obverse
- Standing figure of King Gustav Vasa in full armor, holding a raised sword in the right hand partially inside an ornate circle. Legend outside. Small Vasa Arms between King's feet.
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden and an "A" (symbol of the City of Åbo) in the middle, is inside a beaded circle with legend outiside. The shield is above a long arms cross that cut legend in four parts. (New coinage of Turku.)
