Crowned armored half-bust of King Christian IV facing right over big ornate rounded cartouche with King’s titles and date on four lines. Below the mintmark is divided by cartouche lobes. The King's bust is within a beaded circle with King's motto outside, along rim, divided by the crown. (Piety strengthens the realms

Big ornate oval shield with Danish arms on a cross with long arms encircled by a ring of 13 round shields with arms of Danish territories; all inside an outer pearled circle. Above, cutting the pearled circle, the Danish crown. Below on the lower arm of cross the pendant of the Order of the Elephant. Legend outside circle. (The blessing of the Lord makes riches)
