Description
1 Öre from Sweden. Issued from 1529 to 1530. Struck in Billon (.312 silver). Measures 28.22 mm and weighs 4.39 g.
- Obverse
- Standing armored and mantled King holding raised sword in right hand and Globus Cruciger in left. Small vasa arms between his feet. King's figure is partially inside a circle with legend outside. (Saint Erik King of Sweden)
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden and a small inner shield with Vasa Arms, above a long arms cross. The point of the cross cut the legend in four parts. Date is at the end of legend. (Coin of Västerås)
