½ Gyllen - Gustav Vasa from Sweden. Issued in 1523. Struck in Silver. Measures 32 mm and weighs 12.93 g.
- Obverse
- Standing figure of King in full armor, holding a big sword in right hand. Figure of the King is partially within a circle, with legend outside.
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden and a big "S" in the middle, inside a circle with legend outside. Shield is above a long arms cross that cuts the legend in four parts. Date is at the end of legend. (New coinage of Stockholm.)
