25 Kuna from Croatia. Issued in 2017. Struck in Bimetallic: copper-aluminium-nickel centre in copper-nickel ring (Brass: Cu 92%, Al 6%, Ni 2%). Measures 32 mm and weighs 12.75 g.

Obverse

The central part of the coin core features the denomination numeral "25". The Coat of Arms of the Republic of Croatia is positioned above the denomination numeral and the name of the monetary unit "KUNA" is inscribed below the numeral. The jigsaw puzzle motif signifies the fields of the state coat of arms, two of which, positioned one opposite the other, are matted and filled in with thin vertical lines. The other two quarters, situated one opposite the other, are lustrous. The upper left matted quarter on the ring of the coin bears the Croatian inscription "REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA" and the opposite lower right quarter on the ring features an image of a marten turned to the right. The lower left lustrous quarter on the ring shows a matted olive branch in bloom, and the opposite polished quarter features a mated common oak branch with acorns. Reverse

The main motif on the obverse and the reverse of the new 25 Kuna coin depicts a jigsaw puzzle. The design on the obverse symbolises the cooperation and unity of the Member States of the United Nations. The jigsaw piece crossed with thin diagonal lines represents "H", the first letter of the Croatian name for Croatia – "Hrvatska". The letter "H" touches the logo of the United Nations in the coin's core, in a symbolic representation of the membership of the Republic of Croatia in the United Nations.
