- A handball player in front of the globe. The inscriptions "2010", "LONDON" and the face value "50 EURO" are on the globe. The different, and the other inscriptions "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" and the motto "LIBERTÉ - ÉGALITÉ - FRATERNITÉ" are all around the globe following the listel.
- Reverse
- Representation in the center of a striker in pivot facing the pledges and his keeper. Above the mention "SUMMER GAMES" and on the left Big-Ben, the monument symbol of the city of London. This coin refers to the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom.
