Ecu de Béarn dit "à la vieille tête" - Louis XV from France. Issued from 1771 to 1774. Struck in Silver (.917). Measures 40 mm and weighs 29.48 g.
- Obverse
- Bust of the king turned to the left, his hair tied with a ribbon at the nape of his neck. Engraver's signature below the shoulder.
- Reverse
- Oval shield of France crowned between two olive branches. Latin legends in periphery with, in top on the left, different of the engraver (bale of straw) and vintage. Below different from the workshop (cow).
- Edge
- Inscription in relief.
