2 New Shekels from Israel. Issued in 5777. Struck in Silver (.999). Measures 38.7 mm and weighs 31.1 g.
- Obverse
- The face value, Israel State Emblem, in the lower border "Israel" in English, Hebrew and Arabic, around the upper border "Independence Day" and mint year in English and Hebrew. In the lower section, from left to right, are six of the landmarks of Jerusalem that appear on the reverse and, below, the mint mark.
- Reverse
- The figure 50 highlighted on a frosted background in the center of a circle. Around the circle are famous landmarks on the Jerusalem skyline: upper left: the Knesset and continuing in clockwise direction, Chords Bridge, Jaffa Gate in the Old City Wall, the Western Wall, Abbey of the Dormition, Al-Aqsa, Old City Walls and Tower of David, modern skyscrapers, Shrine of the Book, Windmill, border inscription "Reunification of Jerusalem" in English, Hebrew and Arabic.
