- Smaller crowned armored bust of King Frederick III with long hair inside a circle. Surrounded by inscription. Beaded ring on the rim. (Frederik III, by Gods grace, king of Denmark, Norway, the Wends and the Goths)
- Reverse
- Crowned two-tailed rampant lion holding a curved halberd (symbol of Norway) facing left and inside a circle. King's motto outside with date at end. Mintmark is between lion's legs. Beaded ring on the rim. (The Lord will be my providence.)
