- Obverse
- Bust of king Frederik III with a laurel wreath, a bow tie in the front and armored shoulder, facing right in a laurel wreath. Surrounded by inscription. Beaded ring on the edge. (Frederik III, by God´s grace, King of Denmark, Norway, the Wends and the Goths)
- Reverse
- Crowned Norwegian lion holding an axe and facing left, in a shield on top of a cross. The shield is crowned, divides the mint master´s initials and is surrounded by the inscription. Date is divided by the shield and is at the top part. Beaded ring on the rim. (The Lord will be my providence)
