- Obverse
- Crowned circle with the monogram of king Christian V on the left. A crowned norwegian lion holding an axe and facing left, on the right of the coin. Inscription on the left, right and top sides of the obverse. Beaded ring around. (King of Denmark and Norway)
- Reverse
- Big cross (Dannebrog cross) dividing the coin in reverse in four parts, with a small cross in a circle in the middle of the big cross. Inscription surrounding the big cross. Beaded ring around. (It (the cross) strengthens the one in need)
