Representation of the coasts of the English Channel and Brittany where is engraved "PARIS 22H22 21 MAY 1927" which are the place, date and time of landing and also the year "2002". The portrait of the aviator Charles Lindbergh, the face value "20 EURO" and the mint marks are in the center of the coin. The name of the state "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" and the motto "LIBERTÉ-FRATERNITÉ-ÉGALITÉ" at the upper edge of the scroll.
Reverse
Representation of the coasts of North America on which the inscriptions "NEW YORK 7:52 AM MAY 20 1927" place, hour and date of the departure and "α 2002". In the center representation of the plane of Lindberg with the inscription "Spirit of St.Louis", name of the plane used for this voyage. Below the mention "75th ANNIVERSARY".
