In clockwise order, at the top the motto "LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ", then "20 EURO", at the bottom "LES MONUMENTS DE FRANCE", the marks of the workshop, the year "2003" and finally "RF" of French Republic.

- The castle of Chambord seen from the forest with a stag and a doe in front of a plan of the castle. Below the name of the monument "CHÂTEAU DE CHAMBORD".
