- Obverse
- Map of France including various historical monuments with different types of architecture. The inscriptions are on both sides of the map. In clockwise order, at the top the motto "LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ", then "10 EURO", at the bottom "LES MONUMENTS DE FRANCE", the marks of the workshop, the year "2006" and finally "RF" of French Republic.
- Reverse
- View of a part of the Arc de Triomphe on the left part of the piece. On the right part, representation of the plate in homage of the unknown soldier and dates "1816-2006". Above, the name of the monument "ARC DE TRIOMPHE".
