½ Testoon from Scotland. Issued in 1560. Struck in Silver (.916). Measures 24 mm and weighs 3.05 g.
- Obverse
- Arms of Mary as Queen of Scots and Queen Consort of France, topped with a crown of 5 fleur-de-lis. Cross to the left and saltire to the right. (Francis and Mary, by the grace of God, King and Queen of France and Scotland)
- Reverse
- 'FM' monogram, topped by a crown of five fleur-de-lis. Crowned fleur-de-lis to the left, crowned thistle to the right. (The Lion of the tribe of Judah hath prevailed)
