1 Gros - John II from Kingdom of Cyprus. Issued from 1432 to 1458. Struck in Silver. Measures 25 mm and weighs 4 g.
- Obverse
- The king sitting on a throne, holding a scepter sword in right hand and a globus cruciger in his left. Inscription around him and beaded ring on the rim.
- Reverse
- Cross of jerusalem (large cross with a square in the centre, with smaller crosses in each quarter part), surrounded by a beaded ring. Another beaded ring on the rim, with the inscription between the rings.
