1 Gros - James II from Kingdom of Cyprus. Issued from 1460 to 1473. Struck in Silver. Measures 27 mm and weighs 3.78 g.
- Obverse
- The king on horseback facing right, holding an unsheathed sword in his right hand, and a globus cruciger in his left, surrounded by a beaded ring. Another beaded ring on the rim, with the inscription between the rings.
- Reverse
- Cross of jerusalem (large cross with a square in the centre, with smaller crosses in each quarter part), surrounded by a beaded ring. Another beaded ring on the rim, with the inscription between the rings.
