¼ Thaler - Ferdinand II of Tyrol from Landgraviate of Upper Alsace. Issued from 1584 to 1595. Struck in Silver (.875). Measures 29 mm and weighs 6.9 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned half-length armoured figure holding sceptre over right shoulder. Amour with arabesque.
- Reverse
- Crowned manifold arms with central shield of Upper Alsace, Order of Golden Fleece around, two small shields of the Habsburg at right and of Ferrette at left divide the legend.
