2 Thalers - Ferdinand II of Tyrol from Landgraviate of Upper Alsace. Issued from 1594 to 1595. Struck in Silver. Measures 49 mm and weighs 57.2 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned half-length armoured figure holding sceptre over right shoulder, double inner circle. Striped armour with dots and rosettes.
- Reverse
- Crowned manifold arms with central shield of Upper Alsace, Order of Golden Fleece around, two small shields of the Habsburg at left and of Ferrette at right divide legend (for Dux Burgundiae Landgravius Alsatiae Comes Ferretae).
