Obverse
The Sower, with her bag slung over her right shoulder, walks barefoot towards the sun located horizontally on the right side of the room. The sun's rays flood the room with light as well as the Eiffel Tower, symbol of the G20, and many stars fly in the sky. To the left of the Sower, the words "G20 FRANCE 2011".
Reverse
The face value "50 EURO", surrounded by two branches, one of oak, the other of laurel, evoking the initials of the euro. The inscription "NEW WORLD NEW IDEAS", motto of the G20, as well as the year 2011, the whole framed by an assembly of lines representing the hexagon.
