Aspron Trachy from Byzantine Empire. Issued from 1187 to 1191. Struck in Billon. Measures 34 mm and weighs 3.9 g.

Obverse
Virgin nimbate, seated on throne without back, wearing pallium and maphorium, head of Christ on breast, beardless and nimbate. Inscription on either side of shoulders; beaded border.
Reverse
Isaac on the left, standing facing, crowned with stemma, wearing divitision and chlamys, holding akakia with right hand; St George on right, standing facing, beardless, nimbate, in military attire, holding sword with left hand; between them, both jointly holding a patriarchal cross on long shaft set on globe at base. Inscriptions on either side; beaded border. (Isaakios Georgios:
