- Obverse
- The obverse of the coin shows its face value decorated with an oak branch and a laurel branch, evoking the Euro sign. The motifs on the reverse side are framed with a set of lines representing France's hexagonal shape.
- Reverse
- Invented by two brothers from Lyon, the Lumière brothers, cinema is honoured on the reverse of this coin. Mickey is shooting a scene in front of the monument to the Lumière brothers. The Fourvière Basilica, recalling Lyon, can be seen in the background.
